1. This Regulation on the cookie processing policy (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation) has been developed in compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated May 7, 2021 N 99-Z "On the protection of personal data". Its application is one of the measures to protect the personal data of users of the website www.h-tv.by (hereinafter referred to as the Site), the owner of which is the Unitary Enterprise "N-TV" (Minsk, S.Kovalevskoy per., 62, k. 16) (hereinafter referred to as the Operator).

2. The Regulation explains to the users of the Site how and for what purposes the Operator processes cookies and how users can control the processing process.

3. Cookies (eng. cookies) are a text file saved in the browser of the computer (mobile device) of the user of the official website when visiting it to reflect the actions taken. This file allows you not to re-enter or select the same parameters when visiting the site again, for example, choosing a language version. 

4. The purpose of processing cookies is to ensure the convenience of website users and improve the quality of its functioning.

At the same time, the Unitary Enterprise “N-TV” (hereinafter  – the enterprise) does not use cookies to identify subjects of personal data – specific users of the Site.

We do not share cookies with third parties or use them to identify personal data subjects.

The Company has the right to make changes to this Policy. In this case, the updated Policy is also posted in the public domain on the Site.

Data processed on the Site:

– IP address, browser type and device operating system;

– date and time of visiting the Site;

– the address of the visited pages of the Site.

5. Depending on the storage periods on the user’s device, the company uses session and persistent cookies.

Session cookies are stored only while the Site is being used, while persistent cookies are stored for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are deleted by the user.

The Company offers the user, upon their first visit to the Site, to give their consent to the use of cookies or to refuse their use by clicking the “Accept” or “Reject” buttons on the pop-up information banner.

The period for which this consent is given is 2 years, as some analytical cookies may be stored for such a period.

6. The following types of cookies are processed on the Site: necessary, functional, analytical.

Necessary – used for the proper functioning of the Site.

Disabling this type of cookie may limit the user's access to the functionality of the Site.

Functional (or technical) cookies – allow for an individual experience of using the Site and are installed in response to the actions of the personal data subject by saving the settings (parameters or configurations) of the Site made by the user (for example, language selection, checking the browser setting regarding acceptance or rejection of cookies).

Disabling this type of cookie may limit the user's access to the functionality of the Site.

Since the company can ensure the full and correct functioning of the Site, including the security of its use, only by using the necessary and functional (technical) cookies, which are mandatory, these types of cookies cannot be disabled.

Analytical – allow you to store the history of visits to the Site pages in order to improve the quality of its functioning, to determine the most and least popular pages, that is, allow you to determine the preferences of Site users.

The Company uses the following statistical services, which process information using cookies, to improve the Site and advertising campaigns:

Google Analytics Google Privacy Policy;

Yandex. Metrica Privacy Policy Yandex.

Google Analytics is used to provide statistical information about the use of the Site without identifying users.

Yandex.Metrica is used to improve user interaction with the Site, uses cookies to collect information about user behavior on the Site without identifying them.

Therefore, Yandex and Google process information about users’ visits to the Site and the actions that users perform on the Site pages.

Disabling analytical cookies does not allow us to determine the preferences of the Site's users, including the most and least popular pages, and to take measures to improve its operation based on the preferences of users without identifying them.

7. In addition to cookie settings on the Site, personal data subjects may accept or reject the collection of all or some cookies in their browser settings.

Some browsers allow you to visit websites in “incognito” mode to limit the amount of information stored on your computer and automatically delete session cookies.

In addition, the data subject may delete previously saved cookies by selecting the appropriate option in the browser history.
